City of Bath
Having done a private reading for a client who wished me to visit her in Bath, I thought what a shame to waste an otherwise empty weekend (rare) when I was right in the nicest place I could be for miles. I decided to stop over and visit the Roman Baths which I love.
First I needed to find somewhere to stay over and with the help of a friendly internet cafe I searched online for a site that could help me find exactly what I was looking for. Hotels in Bath was similar to the site I used in Cheltenham to help travelling clients book up.
I found exactly what I wanted courtesy of their fast and convenient site and was soon on my way. Once booked in it was off to the Roman Baths for a lovely walk round history, and then onto the Thermae Bath Spa to relax in the natural hot water springs myself.
I don't like to admit I actually enjoy shopping, but what the heck - I do sometimes enjoy a revel in Mammon's treasure chest when I can afford it (lol). On the way back home the next day I stopped at Westonbirt Arboretum to counter the indulgent feast of the day before by marvelling at the beautiful tree collection and home to many unseen fairies!
